Yoga: Max 20 kids per class 

Yoga practice incorporates gentle movement and breathing exercises to improve motor skills, facilitate relaxation, improve focus, reduce anxiety and encourage self regulation. Care Providers are invited to participate in the class to both receive the benefits of yoga and to learn techniques to better support their children. Classes remain inclusive, while catering to the special considerations of students with diagnoses or challenges.

Dance: 15 kids Max per class 

Dance is a great way for children and adults with special needs to get involved in an extracurricular activity while improving motor skills, confidence, and socialization. Dance can also be a unique and effective way to reach students with special needs because it is nonverbal. Through simple patterns, sequencing, and repetition, students will learn the basics of movement, rhythm and expression.

3. U-Jam/Hip Hop (1x wk)

Martial Arts: Max 20 / class  

It’s no secret that a traditional martial arts program is one of the best extracurricular activities a child can participate in.  For children with special needs the benefits are invaluable because of the inherit structure and discipline the arts bring to a child’s daily life. All children need structure and the added benefits of focus, concentration, balance, tone, awareness, self regulation, core strength, reduced anxiety, and spatial awareness. These are just a few of the benefits your child will receive participating in e-Karate.
